New Course Dates

Previous camp practice in the Cairngorms

I will be putting on my next Arctic Ultras Training Course in early January 2026, leaving from Aviemore and hiking into the Cairngorms and / or Monadhliath Mountains . Unlike previous courses, which involved a lot of classroom learning, this course will be practical, involving hikes through woodland and mountains, and wild camping on the two nights. A separate, online course is in development, which will cover all the background information, such as frostbite and cold acclimatisation.
